Mark Avery is a 6th Dan Black Belt and has been teaching for over 20 years.  He has looked at and trained in many styles.  He now more specifically teaches Aegis Freestyle, a self defence style originating and designed from his own knowledge of Martial Arts along with the knowledge of his fellow instructors in the style.  He also teaches classes in Tai Chi and Qi Gung and further uses these forms to teach and practise various meditations and holistic mind/body techniques.

Kevin Arblaster started his martial arts journey back in 1982. He is a 6th Dan Black Belt in Karate and has enjoyed most of his time as an instructor.  He likes to look at different ways of teaching to get the best out of his students.  He also likes training with weapons; nunchucks being his favourite. 

Steve Luckett has trained in martial arts for over 40 years, being an instructor for more than 30 of them.  In that time, he has achieved his 6th Dan Black Belt and has enjoyed training many white belts through to black belts. He is fully insured with WAKO and holds an up to date first aid certificate. He also holds a current DBS check.  His other job is being a driving instructor but although a teaching role too, brings different challenges tailoring his teaching to each individua student.  

Phil Clewley is a 7th Dan and has studied martial arts for over 40 years. He has taught all ages and abilities from security personel, Scouts and Guides. 

Alan Brough started his martial arts when he was 17 with Karate and Kickboxing and discovered very quickly that freestyle, contact kickboxing was what he loved. He reached his brown belt in Karate and fighter 3 (black belt) in kick boxing.  He is also a qualified personal trainer and loves teaching.  He started  Aegis in 2015 and was awarded his 1st Dan and instructors certificate in 2019.
